The Law Office of Robert F. Schroeder, P.C., was founded by an award-winning former federal prosecutor, Robert F. Schroeder, who has over twenty five years of public and private legal experience. He handles cases in a variety of jurisdictions throughout the country. Mr. Schroeder provides exceptional legal services on a confidential basis, and his clients rely upon his proven ability, experience, and discretion to successfully resolve their critical legal problems.

From 1995 to 1996, Mr. Schroeder served as an Associate Independent Counsel in Washington, D.C., for Independent Counsel Larry D. Thompson, who later served as the Deputy Attorney General of the United States. Mr. Schroeder was the lead attorney in the Office of Independent Counsel's investigation of allegations of fraud, mismanagement and abuse at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and he managed the Office's investigations and litigation on a daily basis. He was also the lead prosecutor in the Office's prosecution of a former Cabinet Secretary.
In 1997, Mr. Schroeder entered private practice. He is licensed to practice law in Georgia and New York.
From 2001 through 2005, Mr. Schroeder served as lead counsel for, and successfully defended, Gambro Healthcare, Inc., and several of its affiliated companies, in a nationwide False Claims Act case, in which Plaintiffs' alleged billions of dollars in damages and penalties. In 2008, Louis Freeh, the former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), was appointed as the Bankruptcy Examiner in a multi-billion dollar case involving the unexpected bankruptcy filing of SemGroup, a seemingly prosperous energy and commodities trading company in Oklahoma, and he asked Mr. Schroeder to lead his investigation and prepare the Final Report for him. Bank of America was the lead bank in a credit facility agreement with SemGroup that involved over 140 banks.
In the course of his duties for the Examiner, Mr. Schroeder supervised over 20 people on a daily basis, managed a multi-million dollar budget, oversaw and participated in all significant litigation matters, and regularly interacted with the Court, and a host of law firms and Government agencies throughout the country.

F. Lee Bailey, one of Mr. Schroeder's former trial adversaries, was quoted as saying that he decided to resolve his client's case in the middle of trial, in favor of Mr. Schroeder's client, largely due to Mr. Schroeder's strong opening statement. "Bob Schroeder gave one of the better opening statements I've ever heard. He did it entirely without notes", Bailey said. After hearing Mr. Schroeder's opening statement, Bailey said that "it was clear there was nothing to be gained" by proceeding with the trial.
